- It must not dominate in its field nationally.
- It must have a physical location within the United States.
- It must be independently owned and operated.
- It must either operate primarily within the United States or make some type of significant contribution to our economy via taxes or by using American labor, products, materials, etc.

You’ll need to check with the SBA to learn about the size requirements for your particular business. The minimums and maximums vary based on several criteria.
